CONTRAINDICATIONS-
Patientswho have kapha dosha lower thannormalshould not undergovammanatherapies.Women pregnant, who do not havesnehana karma, agni that is strong(digestive system), person who isanxious, hungry or stress, children, an elderly or weak, with an enlargedcolon, intestinal parasiteslarger prostate and otherswhen this happens, vamana Karmamust be avoided.
2) VIRECHAN
Virechan (purgation)is the second form of karmaofpanchakarma. It isone of the most widelyutilized treatments, especially indiseases caused due toaggravated pitta dosha. The pittadoesha is removedforcibly through the anal route.Doshas are eliminated usingless strain and with less complications whencompared to vamana karma.
